The Board of Directors is busy planning for the
52nd season. During the off-season, critical repairs are being made to the pump house and filter system. Sections of the below-grade walls are being repaired and a new filtration system is being installed. Additionally, a new storage shed is being erected near the back gate for pool and team equipment. These improvements were initiated last year upon approval by the membership during a special meeting in October 2008. If you see Mike Griffen, please thank him for his oversight on these improvements.

Facilities Update
Repairs to the pumphouse are almost complete. The mansonary work is complete and the new operating equipment (filters, pumps and chemical injection systems) have been installed. The overhead doors are scheduled to be installed the last week of March. As of the beginning of April, the project is on schedule for the May 9th opening. The ground around the pumphouse has been contoured to improve surface drainage and the work has been inspected by an Arlington county official. In April, we will be planting some shrubs and trees to improve the landscaping around the building.
