Welcome to News from the Facilities and Planning Committee

The Board of Directors continues to be busy planning for our 53rd season and beyond! During the off-season this year, repairs were made to the pump house and the filter system. Additionally, a new storage shed was erected near the back gate for pool and team equipment.

Vice President Mike Griffen is doing a tremendous amount of work towards both our short and long term goals. Before opening day, the surface of our pool be ground down and the stains will be chemically treated. Mike has also been exploring opportunities with specialists to assist us in repairing our existing facilities, as well as looking at possible renovations to the bathhouse and accessibility improvements.

Corresponding Secretary Laura Wiberg has also been hard at work. This winter was not kind to any of us and our pool was no exception. We lost a tree and experienced other grounds damage which is being addressed now. Before the pool opens, all debris will be removed, chipped, and hauled away. Laura is also ensuring the damaged trees are trimmed to enjoy their heath.
